Posted on November 27th, 2009 in Personal, Uncategorized by Andy

It was a very good day on the course the people are very nice. we got to do lots of practical work. as well as theory. I had to get up at 5.30 am to travel to london Russell Sq from Heathrow Jurys hotel. Tat was fine butI am tired now so it is off to bed soon. thats if I can sleep last night was not bad but. it is very noisy out side my room tonight the cleaners seem to be going in and out of their room at the side of mine and there is lots of noise as people seem to be going up and down on the lifts all the time. The lifts are right opposite my room. I have to be up again inthe morning for 5.30 so I do hope they will be quiet.

A new adventure Cranial Sacral Therapy Here in London.

Posted on November 27th, 2009 in Uncategorized by Andy

In my quest to be able to bring the best possible treatments to my client’s at the Willows clinic, I have come to London on the first part of the Up ledger course in Cranial sacral therapy. This I hope will in turn bring me onto another course, which will allow me to eventually treat M.E. using a brand new system devised here in England.

I arrived at Heathrow airport at 8.30pm to night 26/11/09. I had to wait for 50 for the shuttle bus to my hotel the Jury’s inn Heathrow. Not the best start on a very cold November night.

Once I arrived at the hotel I had a wait at the Hotel reception. Never a good sign when the person on reception is talking on the phone but did not even acknowledge you are there. The first three mins in any place can define the tone for the rest of your stay. If it’s not right from the start it will generally go down hill from there. However the Hotel it’s self is very nice to look at down stairs. The Room is very pain but clean. With Internet access and at a very reasonable price & TV. A very clean if simple bathroom.

I went to the restaurant for something to eat it was a buffet style 3-course meal for just over £11. How ever when I went to look at it the buffet looked to me like the food had been there for a long time and that it was very badly presented. It looked congealed. The staff in there was very nice though. I went to the bar and had a bar snack from there. Once again the staff were very nice and the food was fine.

We will see how the night goes and in the morning I need to be up for 5.30 to go to the Royal International hotel in the centre of London where my course is being held. Unfortunately I could not get a room there or in the vicinity so I have a 60 min tube ride to come.

I will let you know how the first day of the course goes. I will report again Friday evening.

Another week on Dean Holland’s Starting with Marketing Course.

Posted on October 8th, 2009 in Personal by Andy

Good Morning it’s just gone 7.30am here in Ireland and I have been working on the course for around 3 hours now. I am having to get up early just at the moment because this is the only time I can find to work. It’s very busy thank goodness in the Willows Clinic Dublin at the moment. We are getting lots of people in for Colonic Irrigation and Infertility Reflexology. These are my partners areas of expertise, I do some of the colonic’s but not that many. I still prefer massage and physio treatments. We have just taken delivery of a lot of maxi muscle body building products. Which are to go no sale on my web site www.irelandfit.com. Maxi muscle is about the biggest name in body building products at this time. You see it everywhere even in the Argos book. So if you have a web site selling body building products you need to have Maxi muscle products on there because that’s the brand that everyone recognises.
I am new to selling anything on line so I have to learn as I go along. My friend and mentor in the body building product business Adi Brown. Who owns NRG Fuel and has over 35 years experience in the business say’s it is a must to have Maxi muscle products on are web site www.irelandfit.com. Personally I prefer NRG Fuel. I like TTP an all in one powder with all the main powders Protein, carbohydrates, Glutamine, Argine and Creatine Ethyl Ester in a synergistic mix. In fact when Carl (Cobra) Froch defends his World supper middleweight title on 17th October 2009, he will be sporting NRG Fuel logo’s on his kit and that of his corner crew. If a world champion uses NRG Fuel it say’s for me that it has to be good. Carl trains on TTP from NRG Fuel.

Any way talking about what I have to do with the powders wont get my course work done. I am still trying to master recording video and getting it to my site.

Until we speak again Love and light.

My weekend including the last part of Dean Holland’s course

Posted on September 25th, 2009 in Personal by Andy

So another Friday and the week end starts here. It’s been a very busy Friday two clients this morning for Injury Treatment & Management. This afternoon food shopping until about 3pm. After that working on Dean Holland’s course that I am doing, this is the last section called Screen King. This part is all about making Video’s and getting them on U tube and your blog like this one and other sites. Dean Holland’s Starting with marketing course has been excellent all the way through. I have learned so much about blog set up and everything else to do with making the blog look good. Now to making our own video’s under Dean Holland’s watchful eye is a great experience. I went out today and bought a web cam so that I can make the videos. I am very excited about the idea and can’t wait to get started.

That a part I don’t know what your weekend is like, but mine will be Saturday in the Willows Clinic doing my main job. This will be lots of massages including a Hydrotherm Pregnancy Massage. I quite like doing these massages as they are carried out with the client lying on their back. On warm water mattresses with a lumbar support under their knees. A correctly sized opsipital support under their head.  Putting them into the perfect anatomical position for maximum comfort. This same basic position will be used in any stage of pregnancy. From this position the whole body can be massaged even the clients back using the Hydrotherm massage system without the client ever needing to turn over or even move. The whole routine is carefully worked out for early pregnancy through to full term. It is also very good for people with mobility problems. As once they have been placed into position they have no need to move.

I will, all being well be finished work by 4pm. Then it’s showered changed and out to our friends Joyce and Dave‘s house for tea. But it will not be a late night as we need to be home by 11pm at the latest. Because Sunday we have a Market Stall at Fairyhouse race course Sunday market. Selling the body building products we provide through our website www.irelandFIT.com. We have to be there by 7.30am ready to set up so we will need to be up by 6am.

I will tell you all how we got on at the market Sunday night. If I can stay a wake.

Another fun weekend in Ireland

Hello again

Well what a weekend here in Ireland the whole Lisbon treaty and its coming referendum was debated fiercely over dinner last night with a group of close friends. It raised some very interesting arguments for both sides. But the No side won at the table. With their argument being a reduction in the minimum wage. Less control over national finances for the elected government.

The conversation then flowed naturally to the all Ireland GAA final championships which took place today between the counties of Kerry and Cork. The influx of people to the city of Dublin from the combatant’s home cities could only be compared to being like a plague of Locusts. The whole city was a wash with the colours of Green and yellow (Kerry) and red and white (Cork). The Guards (Irish police) struggled to control the sea of fans that were spilling all over the streets of the capital. Guards on horse back and cycles were doing their best to herd the supporters off of the roads, to keep them and passing motorists safe. The crowd was very good natured on the whole with no trouble reported.

The result of the game came as no surprise with Kerry wining their 5th all Ireland title in 10 years. They have won more all Ireland titles than any other county in Ireland and this win was and will be as well celebrated as the first. Because Kerry has won the GAA all Ireland so many times it is jokingly known as the kingdom.

It was a great day in Dublin and we as a family took off to take advantage of the wonderful sunshine and go to a market in the next county. Whilst listening to the match on the car radio.

We rounded the day off with a nice Italian meal.

Hello again

Hi Again

I am sorry it has been so long since the last time I posted anything up on my blog. But lots of things have been happening. I have been to weddings, 40th birthday parties and on Holliday to Malta.

First off we had a very busy week in the clinic leading up to my partner Irene’s brother’s weddings. I know what you are thinking weddings?!! Well on the Friday they had the civil ceremony at the registry office and me and me mot (Irish slang for female partner) went to her brothers place minded the kids and made a big, big buffet for everyone coming back from the registry office. Then we mucked in and helped feed everyone and wash up and do.

The next day we picked up Irene’s niece and we all went down into the country to a quaint little hotel that specialises in weddings. I think it was called the station house because it used to be a railway station once pone a time. A nice little touch is that the old signal box is converted into a suit for the bride and groom to spend the wedding night in. we had the family room because we looked after the kids from Irene’s brother’s previous marriage.

All in all it was a good do with another wedding ceremony carried out by a monk from the arse end of no where. This was all done in the grounds of the hotel. The bride was fashionably late just over the hour. We left early next day to get ready for our holiday to Malta.

This blocked most of my week for posting and Dean Holland’s course. But I am getting back on track now.

The story will continue later.

It’s Monday Morning

Hi There,

Well so starts another day here in Dublin. I am in the very very fortunate position of being able to start work at 9.30 am and have enough massages, Injury treatments and body wraps to take me through to 11pm with only 30 mins for a brake. Then when I finish before I crawl into bed I will do my very best to visit at least 5 of the blogs of my fellow students on Dean Holland’s internet marketing course.

I have to say I am thoroughly enjoying Dean Holland’s course. Not only do we get lots of contact through email but loads of webinars and live question and answer sessions. Dean Holland has even now put links to all our blogs onto his blog site at http://deanholland.com. Which is giving us all a fantastic opportunity to get lots and lots of free exposure for our blogs. Dean Holland is a really nice man and is very easy to approach and is certainly the person to align your self with if you want to be a successful internet marketer and enjoy doing it.

I also have to say that my fellow students are very very friendly and could not be more helpful with really constructive comments on mine and other student’s blogs. Unfortunately I do not have the time spend every day on the blogs because of my work schedule. But that is how it is when you work for your self.

Well it’s time to go into the Willows my clinic and start until next time love light and happiness to us all.

My Weekend

Posted on August 10th, 2009 in Personal by Andy

Hi

This weekend I had a wonderful time with my grand children. I spent Friday evening playing with my youngest grand son Evan. He has grown so much since I last saw him. He can also put sentences together. Not bad for just 2.

Then on Saturday I spent time with my other grandchildren Sophie 4 and Joel 2.5. We played on the swings and slides at the park. It was a really nice day. Then off to

Mc Donald’s for a happy meal and a milk shake. Then we watched some Disney DVD’s Beauty and the Beast & Snow White. Hi Ho!!

Then whilst everyone slept it was onto the lap top and back onto the course with Dean Holland. To follow some of the things that needed doing for the course. I have to say I am really pleased with the way Dean  is helping me with the blog and how it is coming together.

Andy

Hello

Posted on August 6th, 2009 in Personal by Andy

High Again

Sorry I missed a few days but it has been mad here, since I got back from Galway.

There have been lots of people with injuries to see and massages to do. I think there must be more pregnancies in Dublin at the moment. Because I am doing far more pregnancy massages.

Actually it is quite rewarding doing pregnancy massage because the mothers to be get lots of relief from back pain, swollen tired legs, sore feet & boobs.

The Method of massage that I use is Hydrotherm massage. The lady lies on two large hot water pillows, with her head on a head rest and her legs over an inflatable support which is placed behind  the knees.  This gives the perfect ergonomic position for comfort. Once in this position the lady never has to move again. Because I can work the entire back of her body between her and the water mattress.  This system is also very beneficial to anyone with poor mobility.

Well that’s me for to night. I have to be up early in the morning, I am on the red eye flight back to Nottingham England, from here in Dublin. So I get a weekend with the grandchildren.
